2 Billion Trees Program: 1st year results
Launched in 2021, the 2 billion trees program enabled the signing of agreements during its first year to plant around 30 million trees.
The project partners planted 29 million of the 30 million trees planned for 2021, i.e. 97% of the objective, with 150 species planted on more than 500 sites.
From 2026, the objective is to plant 250 to 350 million trees per year.
